Badger Coaches serving UW folks from Northside

Because parking at UW-Madison and UW Health is limited and expensive, the university has arranged a contract with Badger Coaches to provide bus service from the Northside to campus and the UW Hospital.

The service is only for those with a UW permit. Those with permits park at the former Oscar Mayer plant location near Aberg Avenue and board the bus. “This is a shuttle service for UW-Madison and UW-Health. It is not a public service,” a Badger Coaches employee stressed.

Richard Little, who works in the operations department at Badger Coaches, explained that the buses run to campus, with stops at University Avenue at Park Street and Charter, on Observatory Drive and the UW Hospital. “There is not room for everyone to park at UW and it is costly,” Little explained.
