Madison Bikes

The 25th annual Bicycle Film Festival will be hosted by Madison Bikes Thursday, Oct. 2, 6:30 pm, at the Barrymore Theatre, 2000 Atwood Ave. Bike valet parking will be provided.

The Bicycle Film Festival has been celebrating bicycles through art, film and music for over two decades. It has reached an audience of one million people across more than 100 cities worldwide.

Documentaries, narratives, animations, award-winning directors, and emerging talents all share equal billing. Take a journey around the globe with stories about a South African women’s cycling group; London cyclists who distribute food and necessities to those in need; a spiritual cyclist in India; a Chinese migrant worker who collects and recycles Styrofoam boxes; the 3-day Omnium in La Crosse, Wisconsin; and creation of the rugged Buffalo Bicycle to serve rural communities.
