East Madison Community Center’s (EMCC) 28th Annual Bowl-a-thon, held Nov. 9, was a great success as more than $53,000 was raised for their Minority Academic Achievement Program.
Dream Lanes hosted the lively event, where over 100 bowlers were able to exceed this year’s goal of $50,000. A variety of 28 teams gathered to contribute to their community and have fun. Children and adults alike enjoyed guest appearances from the Chik-fil-A cow, Wolfie from Madison College, and Scoopie from Culver’s. NBC15’s Mackenzie Davis emceed the event for the second year in a row.
Many thanks go out to the sponsors and prize donors for their generous donations, as well as to volunteers and EMCC staff who made this event a great success.
