When Evolution Financial opened in September, it fulfilled a dream for founder Sue Peck, CFP®, to locate her new business on the Northside. She had been honing her financial planning expertise for 11-plus years at a west side investment management firm with a focus on tax efficient investment strategies. Opening her own business “enables me to work with clients to help them to plan, develop and grow in order to reach their financial goals and strive for their dreams,” said Sue.
“I chose Evolution Financial as the name of my new business because helping clients transition through the various stages, opportunities and changes life has to throw their way is an evolutionary process,” said Sue. The fee-only comprehensive financial planning and investment management services offered by the firm are for people of all backgrounds. Sue is a fiduciary which involves being ethically bound to act in the best interests of her clients, and always with loyalty that puts the client first.
Financial planning services are offered on a nondiscretionary basis. Clients are free to choose whether to implement the recommendations that are made. In addition to comprehensive financial planning, clients may also receive advice on personal finances, investments, portfolio allocation, retirement planning, estate planning, debt management, behavioral finance guidance or an education savings needs analysis. Services are also available to address a specific financial question or to review an existing financial plan for guidance and feedback. Asset management services are offered as well.
Community is important to Sue. She currently serves on the Northside Business Association board as vice president, is on the finance committee for the North/Eastside Senior Coalition (NESCO) and is a member of OPEN (Out Professional Engagement Network). She lives on the Northside with her husband Nathan, two Border collie mix dogs and their chickens.
