From Captain Jay Lengfeld, North District Police

I hope everyone had a safe and fun winter. Warmer weather is coming, which is good, but it also brings more crime. Make sure to lock your doors and watch over your neighborhood. Remember to call us if you see suspicious people and/or vehicles in your neighborhood.

The North Community Survey results are out and posted on the Madison Police Department (MPD) website (cityofmadison.com/police/north/). I want to thank everybody who took the time to fill one out. There are no big surprises, but there are areas we need to improve on this year.

Here is a sample of the results: 1 = don’t know, 2 = no problem, 3 = small problem, 4 = somewhat of a problem, and 5 = big problem. You can review all the results on the MPD website.

Have a great spring.Screen Shot 2018 03 20 at 5.40.29 PM
