Lions District 27-D1
A new opportunity to make a real difference in the Northside community is here. The Lions of District 27-D1 are working to establish a brand-new Lions Club on the Northside of Madison, and we’re looking for passionate individuals like you to join us in serving others.
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization, with 1.4 million members in over 200 countries. Our mission? To make a positive impact through hands-on service, fundraising, and partnerships that directly improve lives. Here in District 27-D1, our Lions have been actively serving through projects such as: vision screenings for children and adults, hunger relief initiatives supporting local food pantries, environmental cleanups to keep our community beautiful, and scholarships and mentorship programs for local youth.
Now, we’re bringing this same spirit of service to Madison’s Northside, and we need dedicated community members to help shape the future of this new club.
Exciting upcoming event
As part of our outreach to the Northside, we are offering free vision screenings for children ages 4–12 on Sunday, June 15, from 8:30 am–12:30 pm, at the Northside Farmers Market. Early vision screenings are vital to a child’s success, and we invite all families to stop by and take advantage of this important service.
Why join the Lions?
● Make a real impact in your neighborhood;
● Build friendships with like-minded individuals;
● Develop leadership skills while giving back;
● Be part of a global movement for good.
We invite all Northside residents and community leaders to learn more about the new club and how you can get involved. Whether you have experience in community service or are simply looking for a meaningful way to give back, the Lions are ready to welcome you.
