Northport Community Learning Center
The Northport Community Learning Center picnic was a mini festival where we blocked off the parking lot. Grilled food and activities, including a bouncy house, were provided. There were games for prizes, popcorn and a flavored ice machine. Families from the community participated in the event.
This year, we gave out 135 fully stocked backpacks on the day of the event. We were fortunate to receive backpacks from The Housing Ministries of Wisconsin and Extended Hands. The backpacks came fully stocked with everything from erasers to protractors to pencils, paper and crayons, based on grade level needs from Pre-K to college. Our children at the center greatly benefit from their generosity.
