The Warner Park Community Recreation Center’s (WPCRC) special Halloween Family Fun Night was made possible with Circle of Friends (CoF) funds deposited in the Madison Community Foundation Warner Pool account. Per our agreement, if the pool wasn’t built by 2023, some of the earnings would go for programs at the WPCRC. Once the pool is built, the earnings will revert back to the pool account.
The CoF has not given up on adding an indoor aquatic center. Swimming should be the first sport a child learns; it could save their life by preventing them from drowning. Every person must know how to swim with access to affordable swim lessons.
We need your help in finding several major donors. The WPCRC-CoF is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Membership in the Circle of Friends is open to all residents who support the WPCRC and want to be a part of its continuing growth and success. Board members are selected from CoF members who have volunteered to help and have the time to participate on a working board. Our board members are all volunteers. We have no paid staff. New members and volunteers are always welcome.
