Good news: the Circle of Friends (CoF) will be sponsoring another Universal Sounds Concert at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center (WPCRC). Save Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2–4 pm, to enjoy the great music. Everyone is welcome.

The CoF will be sponsoring more Family Fun Nights at the WPCRC. Come and enjoy a movie, face painting, balloon twisting, bingo, arts, pottery projects and a bounce house. Friday, Oct. 30, will be the BIG Halloween Party Family Fun Night that will include lots of Halloween activities.

As I mentioned in previous articles, the indoor aquatic center is still a very important goal. Every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim; it could save their life, and it should be the first sport every child learns. We are continuing our search for several major donors.

Membership in the CoF is open to all residents that support the Warner Park Community Recreation Center and want to be a part of its continuing growth and success. Board members are selected from CoF members who have volunteered to help and have the time to participate on a working board. Our board members are all volunteers. We have no paid staff. New members and volunteers are always welcome.
