The Universal Sound concert at the WPCRC in April, which was sponsored by the Circle of Friends (CoF), was a huge success. The music was so good to listen and dance to. The CoF will be sponsoring another concert in the fall/winter. Watch NewBridge News and the Northside News for the date.

The CoF will also be sponsoring some Family Fun Nights at the WPCRC. We hope to see you on June 12 enjoying the movie, face painting, balloon twisting, bingo, art and pottery projects, and the bounce house. There will be no Family Fun Nights in July or August, but they will return on Sept. 18.

As I mentioned in previous articles, the indoor aquatic center is still a very important goal. We are continuing our search for several major donors and need your help.

If you have a CoF t-shirt you no longer wear, consider dropping it off at the WPCRC for those who have worn theirs out and would like to replace them.

Membership in the CoF is open to all residents who support the WPCRC and want to be a part of its continuing growth and success. Board members are selected from CoF members who have volunteered to help and have the time to participate on a working board. Our board members are all volunteers. We have no paid staff. New members and volunteers are always welcome.
