On Aug. 14, East Madison Community Center (EMCC) gathered with volunteers to celebrate and recognize the incredible contributions they make to the community. Volunteers enjoyed an evening of appreciation that began with a taco bar and continued with a lively Family Feud-style game that brought plenty of laughter and friendly competition.

The evening concluded with each volunteer receiving a certificate and a small gift as a token of EMCC’s gratitude. Special recognition was also given to outstanding volunteers, board members and company partners whose dedication and years of service have made a lasting difference at EMCC.

This year’s award recipients included Chance Wright in the Youth Volunteer category; Bridget Rodgers and Tauri Robinson in the Board Member category; Shay Mims, Tami Neimisto, and Matt Steensen in the Adult Volunteer category; and JP Cullen and CDA in the Company Volunteer category.

Volunteers are an essential part of EMCC, contributing their time, skills and energy to help make programs and services possible throughout the year. Their support allows EMCC to serve more community members and expand its impact. We are incredibly grateful to every EMCC volunteer for helping strengthen our community and make EMCC a place where everyone is welcome.
