On June 26, East Madison Community Center hosted a Family Fun Night with a theme of Glitter and Games with pizza for dinner.
There were diamond dot paintings in a variety of pictures that went quickly. The craft of decorating a canvas tote with fabric makers, plastic gems and glitter makers was also a hit with kids and adults.
A variety of board games were available to play, including one called “Kollide” which was very popular. To win at Kollide, you take turns placing magnets in a circle. If the magnet placed attracts and connects to another magnet, the player has to pick up the magnets that connected. The first player to get rid of all their magnets wins.
Folks had a good time, and another Family Fun Night will be hosted on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4:30–7:30 pm.
