The 2026 market season is well underway with great attendance and a variety of strong new vendors.

In this issue, we are highlighting My Mom’s Soap Co. They sell handmade soap based on a 25-year-old family recipe. Andrew handcrafts the soap right here in Madison with the goal of delivering downright good soap that is local and low waste.

Combining essential oils with vegetable oils and lye, the soap offers a great lather to carry away dirt and can be used on hands, body and face. The array of scents ranges from bright and citrusy to herbal or woodsy or even pepperminty. With 10 different scent combinations, there is something for everyone, even fragrance-free.

If you are in the market for a new local soap maker, swing by the My Mom’s Soap Co. booth during the Sunday market.

Besides our wide variety of vendors and musical offerings throughout the season, this year you may notice that we are inviting community leaders to connect with customers through our “Coffee with a _____” series. We welcomed Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway in June and plan to have police from the local precinct, principals from Northside schools, and our neighborhood alders later this season.

Thanks for all your support and engagement with your Northside growers, bakers, makers and neighbors.
