Everything you need for Thanksgiving

Willy Street Co-op will have everything you need for Thanksgiving, from whole turkeys to pre-made side dishes and pies to all the ingredients you’ll need to make everything from scratch. If you have guests who are avoiding meat, dairy and/or gluten (or if that describes you), we have entrees, pies and side dish options without those.

We’ll have all the information in our November newsletter, which you can find in our stores, or go to willystreet.coop/thanksgiving in November. All three Co-op stores will close at 2:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.

Owner appreciation

We appreciate our 34,000+ Co-op Owners every day, but in October we’ll back that up with extra sales and giveaways. The Oct. 7 Wellness Wednesday will be 15% off all body care and wellness products for Owners, instead of the usual 10%. The week of Oct. 12, we’ll have some special Owner-only sales, giveaways and events.

Double Dollars back at the Co-op

Every Tuesday from Oct. 20, 2026, to March 2, 2027, any shopper using their FoodShare/QUEST card to purchase groceries will be eligible to receive up to $20 worth of Double Dollars vouchers. These vouchers help purchase fresh, canned and frozen produce, and seeds and seedlings for growing edible plants.

For every $5 you spend using FoodShare/QUEST for any FoodShare/QUEST eligible items, the Co-op will give you one $5 Double Dollar voucher, up to $20. The vouchers can be used at any Willy Street Co-op retail location on any day from Oct. 20, 2026, through May 31, 2027 (as funds allow the program to continue).

Additionally, from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, we will be holding our annual register campaign to support our five local food pantry partners, which includes The River Food Pantry. When customers contribute at the registers to the Double Dollars Fund, the Co-op will match a portion of the funds and give them to our neighborhood food pantry partners.
