The Northside News is a free community newspaper distributed every two months by bulk mail to +13,100 households and businesses on Madison’s Northside.
Most people keep our paper around until they receive the latest issue, so your ad is right at hand for your customers.
The Northside News uses walk-sequence saturation mailing, reaching close to 100% of Northside addresses, including apartment buildings and many individuals who do not subscribe to other newspapers.

What is the correct format for my ad?
We accept ads at Adobe PDF files, 1200 dpi. We cannot guarantee the print quality of ads we receive as other file types. If you cannot send us a PDF file, please call us to talk about options and ensure we can process your ad on our computers BEFORE you put forth time and effort in creating your ad.
Color ads must be CMYK PDF files. Spot colors do not work.
Do you offer color ads?
Yes! We accept full color ads!

Do you offer design services?
Yes, we offer design and layout services. We gather your information and create an ad for you.
First-time advertisers receive complimentary design services. After that, design services are billed $48/hr in 15 minute increments.
Who can advertise?
We accept ads from advertisers in and outside our publication area.
NOTE: Due to federal nonprofit bulk mail regulations, we cannot accept ads from insurance companies, travel agencies, or any ads that promote credit cards or have credit card logos on them.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept online credit card payments. When you receive your electronic invoice, you can click on the payment link to pay by credit card.
