Shaunte McCullum for webHi Northsiders!

I hope we are all enjoying the weather and the beautiful scenery of the changing seasons. There is a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Soups On! is back for another year! I love this event because my family gets to stock up on freshly made soups while supporting our friends and neighbors in the food business. Whether you are new or familiar with Soups On!, be sure to support local food businesses by placing your orders Wednesday through Saturday via the Madison Locally Sourced website and pick up is on Tuesdays at Feed Kitchens.

The Northside Planning Council is known for partnering with other entities on the Northside and throughout the Dane County community in various ways. Our role can vary depending on the need, but we have identified that our organization serves the community in three primary ways: as a facilitator, a resource, and a connector. We are involved in the candidate forums, hosting North Star Awards, Holiday Bizarre, Taste the Future, Northside Festival, and Feed Kitchens hosts the space for the Soups On! order pick up, just to name a few.

Our organization is committed to continuing to offer the programs our community enjoys such as Feed Kitchens, Healthy Food For All, and Northside News. However, we need your support, to not only keep these programs running but also make the necessary improvements. As we prepare for the end of the year and the beginning of a new year we are asking for the community’s support through financial donations and sponsorships to continue the efforts of NPC!

I wish you all happy holidays and a prosperous new year!
