Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our diverse Northside community on September 13 at the Northside Festival 2025. As you see from some of the photos, we had a great day together. Northside businesses, artists, nonprofits and government agencies shared information about their programs and services and artisans, makers and local chefs sold an international variety of cuisines. Music and dancing were part of the day and even a Northside celebrity dunk tank with principals, police, community center leaders and our Northside Alders joining in the fun. We believe celebration and connection are important values for creating a shared community and culture and we are happy to organize this event as an opportunity for this kind of coming together. Everyone who enjoyed the festival should stop in or choose your favorite social media outlet to say thanks to the Willy Street Co-op once again this year for being the generous community partner and presenting sponsor of the Northside Festival 2025. We couldn’t do it without the Co-op and our other sponsors like MG&E. If you missed it this year or were there but want to make sure you are involved again next year, reach out to director@northsideplanningcouncil.org and indicate your interest in being contacted as a potential coordinator, sponsor, volunteer, vendor or general donor/investor. Let’s keep growing and building this event as an annual party that we can all help create and the whole Northside is invited to enjoy.
