Help provide food for seniors, come play BlackTie BINGO!

On Friday, Oct. 10, 6–9 pm, NewBridge is holding our annual BlackTie Bingo fundraiser at Monona Terrace. We are a nonprofit organization that provides older adults a bridge to successful aging. Tickets can be purchased on our website newbridgemadison.org or at our office inside the Warner Park Community Center.

Come in formal dresswear if you wish (many attendees will) but it is not required for admission. We guarantee that win or lose you will have an enjoyable time, some good laughs and the opportunity to help the many older adults in our community in need of support. Help us fill the room with 300 people for a great cause.

With budget cuts looming at both the county and national level, support from Northsiders for BlackTie Bingo will help us address two critical needs: food security and proper nutrition. Proceeds raised will help fund two vital programs: our weekday meal sites and the FoodBridge program.

FoodBridge connects volunteers with low-income and homebound elderly adults facing food insecurity to bring them food so they can eat properly. Our weekday dining sites provide a nutritious meal to ensure older adults are getting at least one healthy meal each day.

We hope you will take the opportunity to learn more about NewBridge and support the significant role we play in helping older adults in need.

Many older adults are afraid, angry and frustrated with changes at the federal level that threaten the essential benefits they receive and reduce availability of federal staff to assist them. This adds unnecessary stress as they navigate the aging process. Please check in regularly with the elderly in your lives and provide whatever emotional support you can, and let them know NewBridge is here to assist however we can.
