Support Mendota Elementary: Silent Auction Fundraiser April 11

By Scott Burclaff
Mendota Elementary PTO

Mendota Elementary is excited to invite the Northside community to its Silent Auction Fundraiser on Friday, April 11, bidding from 5–7 pm, at El Sabor de Puebla in the Northside TownCenter. Please join in an evening of fun, food and fundraising to support the students and staff at Mendota Elementary.

The Silent Auction will feature a variety of items, including boat rentals, party packages, passes to local museums and learning centers, and more from over 50 local businesses.

In addition to the auction, this year’s Willy Wonka Kids musical cast and the dynamic Mendota Stompers stepping group will perform (at 6 pm and 6:30 pm, respectively) while you enjoy refreshments from El Sabor de Puebla and Lone Girl Brewing.

The event is casual, fun, and offers a perfect way to connect with other parents, community members and staff, all while supporting a great cause. While there will be no kids’ room this year, we encourage families to attend and enjoy.

Can’t attend the event? There are still plenty of ways to help. You can donate auction items, sponsor a part of the event, or contribute in-kind donations to help make this fundraiser a success. If you’d like to donate or learn more, please contact Jenny Sydow at mendotasilentauc
tion@gmail.com or call 608-852-1982.

Why support Mendota Elementary? Mendota Elementary educates the highest concentration of economically disadvantaged families in the district, which makes external funding especially meaningful. We are incredibly thankful for your support to fill gaps in funding for field trips, classroom supplies and student activities. Your contributions help ensure that every child at Mendota receives the tools and experiences they need to succeed, both inside and outside the classroom.

Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and help us make this Silent Auction a huge success. We look forward to seeing you April 11 at El Sabor de Puebla,1849 Northport Drive.
