WARNER park COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER

ZachWatsonWPCRC FacilityManagerWPCRC’s KNOW (Kids Need Opportunity at Warner) Program is creating a new offering for this year. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new youth girls’ group! This group will focus on community building utilizing activities that incorporate conflict resolution skills, building strong friendships, navigating dating and adolescence, and boosting self-esteem. This program will offer a safe and supportive space to explore the challenges and joys of growing up in Madison’s Northside.

Additionally, starting this spring, we’re offering cosmetology courses, including hair braiding and eyelash extension classes, offering fun and creative ways for participants to learn new skills. We are also starting a STEM program focusing on app development this spring and summer.

All these programs are free with a WPCRC membership and for youth 11–18 years old. Please contact Program Coordinator Marquis Sanders at msanders@cityofmadison.com to sign up or gather more information for any of these programs.

Family Fun Night is back for 2025, but with some exciting modifications. Our expansion and construction of your new gym space means no bouncy house, pool, or ping-pong, but instead more of a focus on movie screenings, arts and crafts activities, face painting, balloon twisters, kid-friendly science experiments, and delicious food options for purchase. Join us on Feb. 14, March 14, April 11, May 9, and June 20 from 5:30–8 pm for these fun-filled evenings. We can’t wait to see you there!

While the expansion project takes shape at WPCRC, we will continue to be available to host your upcoming birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, and other community event rentals. Check out our programs and stay connected by liking our Facebook page @WarnerParkCRC.
