We are actively recruiting more writers

We are actively recruiting more writers for the Northside News, our free community newspaper published by the Northside Planning Council. Do you have skill and interest in writing, know important information and resources to be shared? Do you like interviewing new businesses or nonprofit and community leaders, have Northside history to tell? Do you have interest in expanding our art, photography or culture aspects of our Northside focused newspaper? Or are you even just curious and interested in exploring any of these ways of becoming a community journalist.  We would love to have you join our team of volunteers who write the articles, take the pictures, proofread and publish this newspaper. Come to the next Writer’s meeting of the Northside News, Monday, August 5 at 4 pm at 1855 Aberg Ave (the NPC office) to dive in. Please contact Justin at director@northsideplanningcouncil.org or 608-444-6640 if you have questions or want to be involved.
